It certainly does look fun

I'm kind of sold on it from what I saw there, but I'll probably do like a lot of others and wait for a price drop. Much easier to take a chance on a game when it's low priced. Plus, I want to know which version to get and it always takes an eternity for Lens of Truth and Digital Foundry to get their comparison articles up, assuming they actually do one for this game

Suda's never really made anything else as interesting as that.
u should play Flower Sun & Rain if u wanna experience Killer7 level story telling.

gameplay is pretty bad tho lol, but the plot makes it worth it!

You need to play it on a Gamecube where it was meant to be played on. The PS2 port isn't all that great.

Ps2 port, iirc, just has longer load times.

I had a bad time with the port. Slowdown everywhere.

I'm curious enough about this game based on footage I've seen to want to play it, but my financial situation is a bit rough at the moment and I'm tired of dropping between 50 to a 100 dollars on new games (when you factor in DLC) only to have them not knock my socks off

So I finally went ahead and signed up for a one month trial of gamefly, been wanting to try that service for a long time, and this is the first game I put in my queue. Hopefully, I'll get to try it out soon.

Seeing as I'll have a month to play and beat the game for basically no money at all, I'll probably be not so demanding in my expectations. Maybe it'll surprise me and I'll love it and want to go out and buy an actual copy. I haven't played a really good, 3D beat 'em up in quite some time. I really, really, want to like this game

I'm really enjoying it, and not just for the eye candy (pun intended).

At the very least, I would think that level 4's homage to retro gaming would make it required reading for forumites :)

Is this game any good? IGN didn't seem to like it but then again I don't agree w/ most of their reviews so I didn't really plan on basing my decision on that review. It looks pretty BA and fun.

I also want to pick up Killer 7 since I never played that. I can't believe that game slipped under my radar! I'm looking to get it for Gamecube.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

Dude stop asking people what they think. I'm guilty of the samething sometimes but really i just like genral input but just buy it cause if you ask someone then your gonna have a certain bias one way or another and might miss out on a great game.

p.s Ign ca lick a big fat donkey dick! :D

Have to say that it was disappointing. Slogged my way through it in a night so I could resell. Combat is button-mashy but fun for a few levels. Upgrades don't have a huge effect gameplay-wise. Main character has very little personality and the whole thing barely raised a smile (and I LOVED Shadows of the Damned).

It would have been a much better game if you could play as Juliet's entire zombie-killing family. That would have added sniping, crazy-driving and God Hand like punching.
