Help Pioneer Laseractive dead?
I was playing my genesis add on with the Pioneer Laseractive and about 18 minutes into playing sonic the system just went off. I thought it strange and went to turn it back on. The systems CD and LD upper right lights turn green (they do not flash, just on) and the reset button is not turned on like it is supposed to. The disc trays do not make their startup noises and the system does not even start up showing the laseractive menu screen. If i click on either CD or LD the CD green light shuts off and the LD light stays on and the digital memory red light then turns on. After that i cannot get anything to work. I Opened up the system and blew it out with air but it did nothing. Any ideas on how to fix this, or anyone else had this issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Help Pioneer Laseractive gaming system dead?
I've seen a LA w/ Genny guts blow once. The PAC had some power issues and send bad current to the LD player. You're taking it apart if you want to fix it. I've heard of ppl replacing caps over at PCEngineFX. Might want to start lurking over there and read up.
What does the LD player do when the PAC is removed? Repairs to the player are easier than the PAC...it's really tight in there.
