Hey guys, just thought I'd let anyone who might be interested know about a new controller adapter from Mayflash, a Hong Kong based peripheral maker of some suprisingly awesome products such as the NES/Super NES to Wii adapter and their line of extremely mod-friendly arcade sticks.
The latest product to hit the shelves is the Universal Adapter for 360/PS3/PS2.
This little box lets you use a wired Xbox 360 controller on the PS3, a wired PS3 controller on Xbox 360, or a wired PS2 controller on either. Being USB, it also works for PC as well. In addition to being an adapter, the device has standard turbo fire settings for shmups and such as well a Home/Guide button for when using a PS2 controller.
Overall performance is extremely good and it works just as advertised. I made up a video review for it if you're interested.

Sounds interesting, but I don't own any of those consoles you listed, besides the NES and once upon a time a Wii, and that's not what you're advertising...

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not advertising and I'm not affiliated with Mayflash at all. I'm just letting you guys know about a cool adapter they make. Check out their site. They make all sorts of awesome adapters. it's mayflash.com .

Mayflash has great products. I have the PS2 to Classic Controller converter for the Wii. So simple, plug in and immediately gain from a different controller. My biggest surprise was the PS1 Digital Arcade Stick is emulated on both the DPad and Analog sticks, perfect for Geometry Wars. Maybe the other Mayflash adapters also allow the Digital to Analog interface?

How bad is the lag and such? That's a big deal for me.

Love it, I'll be picking one up soon. Nice price too.
I've never liked the playstation controller, so the ability to use a 360 controller on the PS3 is right up my alley.
Thanks for the heads up Satoshi.

nonexistant. There's no lag issues in any mayflash products at all.Forlorn Drifter wrote:How bad is the lag and such? That's a big deal for me.
That's a little amusing because I tend to feel the complete opposite. I've never liked the 360 controller much - in many ways it felt like a step backwards from the outstanding controller s for the original xbox.CFFJR wrote:I've never liked the playstation controller, so the ability to use a 360 controller on the PS3 is right up my alley.

The great thing about this adapter is that it satisfies both of our opinions. I can use my PS3 controller on my all 360 games and you can use your 360 controller on all your PS3 games, and all without any lag.
