Sega, Nintendo, Konami, Capcom...It would be easier to list the companies that didn't do that.

Just thought of another annoying thing, when a game says your hardware is too new. I played Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 a lot when I had my old Mac Mini, but a couple years ago when I got my Macbook Pro the game does not recognize my graphics card and is unplayable.

I just had that problem, but with hardware. I got an old Windows 98 PC at Goodwill yesterday. I got it all hooked up and there was nothing coming up on the screen. So I just hooked up the hard-drive to my newer computer instead. Problem was it couldn't recognize my video card and I ended up with 16 colors only and it didn't recognize the sound card and I got zero sound. I was pretty frustrated.

Getting hit by a random bullet or attack at the same time you land the final blow on a boss. Most games make you immune afterwards but in some cases you can win the boss and die right after.

It's rare but when it happens it really is annoying :D

Macs just have terrible legacy support. What do you expect from a company that expects you to buy a $1200 computer every time a $100 part breaks?

I remembered once when I was playing Mega Man 2, and me and Metal Man killed each other at the exact same time. The victory music played and Mega Man warped out of the room during mid-explosion. It was pretty awesome.

Heh, I was just playing Vanquish yesterday and one boss robot does this intentionally by firing an insta-kill death beam at you after being defeated. Man, the curses were flying.

In actual games: Loading screens; everything Call of Duty; turn-based battles.

Others pertaining to games:
(PC related)- DRM; buying a physical disk but having to download the game from Steam to install it.
(Console)- Buying games on day one that are broken or severely hobbled and waiting for a patch (why even relase an unfinished game?!); over-priced DLC.
"Oh great, another box of useless sh*t."

Main Collection: http://connect.collectorz.com/users/ynj ... collection - Not looking to move anything on this list but would entertain offers.
