So I'm looking at the Bioshock Infinite wiki, and see the fake poster they have with George Washington telling you that you need to stop "foreign invaders".

I find that poster extremely awesome.

I'm also suprised that I'm so interested in Infinite, despite the fact that I've never finished the first Bioshock. (In fact, I sold it.) The atmosphere just didn't work for me after the Cohen area, and I just got bored playing it. I think t-he overly strong Patriotism and brighter colors of Infinite will work much better for me.

Also, I love over-patriotism and 50's idealism. Not done often enough today, I think. Of course, that's why I got interested in Fallout. (Which, as ya'll may know, went badly for me)

And Quake 4... I'm now interested.

Finally, I type way too much and imagine that many of you skip over my wordy, boring posts.

Nah, you have a long way to go before you hit the skip-over threshold.

I forgot it aired last night.

Other than a bit of whiplash and the abdominal thing feeling okay today. Payed for the repairs on my dads car ($500 with insurance). Looking at the bumper, I apparently only collided at maybe slightly over 5mph, it felt way faster though. Since it was under my dads plan, my insurance wont be so astronomical when I decide to get my own.

Feel really shitty about the whole thing though. I'm normally a granny driver and get my speed demons out on the track. I guess I was just frustrated yesterday and all the wrong things happened at the wrong time going around the turn. Neither my dad or I have ever gotten that car to spit the tail out on the track, and the car is far from a high powered vehicle (190lbs of torque and 3400lbs) but I guess we know it is possible now. If anything I'm coming out of this as a more cautious driver, that also now has an appreciation for the safety of FWD and AWD vehicles.

I'm just happy nobody was injured. The guy's lot I plowed into wants me to replace his bush that I ran over and isn't going to contact his insurance company which is a major plus.

Anyways, I have a court date in August, I'm hoping they'll drop it all being my first offense (with proof I wasn't going exceedingly fast) but I'm certainly not going to try and wiggle my way out of it.

What is the charge?

My strong advice:

Get to court early, dress nicely, bring your license and proof of insurance. When the DA asks "What are you here for?", hand him/her all documents, and say "There are no claims filed against me, I have proof of insurance, and I would like a dismissal".

I had to go to court for a minor traffic violation and simply said "My lawyer advised I show proof of insurance and shut my mouth", and I was dismissed without court fees. All I lost was two hours out of my day. Best of luck Ryan.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, but I'm not familiar with your state laws.

In NC if there is no harm, no claim filed, and you have insurance your charge should be dismissed. Can't promise that though, a lot of it actually depends on what type of mood the DA is in (sad, but true). That's why my lawyer told me to hand the documents and shut up.

Best of luck.

Is it weird that I really hope that Miami wins tonight and that LeBron, Wade, and Bosh get their ring?
