Why the hell everyone complains about "unrealistic portrayals of women" that include real women? As in, seriously, some girls have big tits, can't you accept it?
Also, exageration is one of the basics of animation, khtnxbye.

I find LinkedIn a good way to keep track of my former colleagues. It's handy to know who is working at a particular company or might have expertise in some technology. It's not just about looking for a job.Luke wrote:gtmtnbiker wrote:

Looking for job = LinkedIn Good.
Not looking for job...well, you get the picture.
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I kid you not, my Sister sends me at least 1 video and 3 pictures A DAY of my niece who is nine months and does nothing. My friend Seth has a genius baby who was standing, by herself, at two months. That, I'll watch. Luckily I have a few girl friends who haven't changed their FB profile to a baby profile, avatar and all.Michi wrote:
Oi. I know that feeling. It feels like half my female friends all conspired to have their children in the same year, so now I'm bombarded with little round, chubby baby faces every day. Yes, ladies, they're cute, but I don't need an hourly update on the status of your child. Once a week is quite sufficient.
While I'm on the subject, I would never tell my Sister this, but I don't agree at all with her child raising philosophy (and she's a psychologist). All of my niece's toys are way over stimulating, but she won't let her watch any tv. I'm not kidding when I say her toys are all reminiscent of a bad acid trip.
Now my buddy Seth, his daughter has very little toys, and the ones she does have could as well be toys for a dog. His baby had to make them fun in her own way, and not press one button for two minutes of music and a light show that is something out of a Pink Floyd concert. I think his choices have a lot to do with his child's development, and why his child is more like a little person more than a "baby".
I could very well be wrong and I'm sure there are studies out there that say one thing or the other about over stimulation, but in my experience tons of fancy toys halt and hinder natural child development.

Didn't have to go to the emergency room, but here's my day in a nutshell:Luke wrote:Hope all works out man.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:May have to go to emergency room. :S
Drops 200lbs grate on self at work, gets insane abdominal pain an hour later and goes to doctor, gets parking ticket while at doctor, then wrecks dad's car 5 blocks from home.

That's awful.
Take a break and relax if you can. You might want to see if the doctor's office can validate your parking, or at least send you a written letter explaining why you had to park where you did (it's worth a shot).

And what did the doctor say about dropping 200lbs on yourself? I would imagine you at least fractured something.

Got a fairly nasty bruise and cut on my shoulder but slid off pretty easily. Wasn't real high up, was about probably 12 or so inches above me.BoringSupreez wrote: Now that's a pretty bad day. I hope it gets better.

Once I stop throwing up, I'm taking a nap.
