mjmjr, know that I do not intend to make a sweeping generalization or anything like that. I'm just trying to get some information, out of a mix of curiosity and helping a friend with a project. (The project is to find examples of taboo subjects being more accepted or even promoted amongst cultures other than ours.) From what I've been reading, you seem to be correct on the Koreans view on the subject. From what I've seen, Japan leans towards the idea that it isn't necessarialy right, but not necessarialy wrong. Like I said, I'm trying to research this with my friend, and we aren't finding much. She is having a hard time doing this research at all, and its awkward digging through all the links to porn sites and such. And seeing that her mom's in the room at the moment, its all the more odd.

I know there's a thread and/or post about this at least once a month on this site, but I'm going to say it anyway...I seriously think I need to stop "collecting" video games. Not just that, but also get rid of a lot of shit. I really really like to keep things simple, when there's a lot of clutter, or too much space on my shelf or in my room is occupied with shit, I start to feel like I'm going to lose my mind. This isn't a new thing, I've always been like this. I don't know why I ever thought I could be a "collector" to begin with. It's gotten to the point that I'm obsessively thinking about getting rid of shit but I have this attachment to all of my games which makes it extremely hard to know where to start or take any initiative. But I've learned in the past that I'm sort of an "out of sight, out of mind" kind of person. So I think that if I can just get this crap out of my house it'll all be ok. haha It doesn't help though that I really have no good way to unload these games. It's either take them to a game store and get absolutely nothing for them, or post them somewhere and wait/hope for them to sell. Maybe you guys should just link me to every thread ever created about this topic so you won't have to waste your time and energy telling me the same thing you've told everyone else with this problem. haha

You've sold a lot here, haven't you? I doubt you'll have much luck with sports games, but at least with other things what's wrong with selling here for a decent price? It has to be better than taking them to someone who will give you pittance and sell them for far more.

Yeah I could definitely try to sell more stuff here, the only problem with that is waiting for it to actually sell.
And obviously I'd be keeping the really good stuff so I'm not sure how much luck I'd have selling just the "meh" stuff.
