Recipes... share them
Re: Recipes... share them
I do a similar recipe with garlic sausages, good stuff. Or for just a side dish, sweet and sour cabbage is really quick, easy , and good. Use a touch of wine in it and it's awesome. Cabbage doesn't have to be boring.

Mix vegetables

First cook the rice.
While the rice is cooking, get the eggs out. In this picture, we put 5 eggs, add about 1/3 table spoon of salt. Shake well.

Finished scrambled egg. Cut the cooked sausages to bite size or however u like.

Mixed the egg and sausage into the cooked rice. While mixing add 1 tablespoon of salt. Mix sure you mix salt well from bottom. Keep mixing, then add another table spoon of salt.

Next, get the Mix vegetables out. Pour about a teaspoon of oil into a big pot. Heat it up, then put the cut Garlic into it. Wait until it turns brown and that awesome fried garlic smell. Put the whole mixed vegetable in it, keep stirring until it cooked. Check visually. Turn down the heat half way. Pour the whole mixed rice, egg, and sausages into the pot. Add another table spoon of salt while stirring. Keep stirring until it looks good.

Since I am a personal trainer, I might as well share with you all my secret weapon.
The X-treme vegan protein shake(my own recipe). Great for post workout recovery!
4 tablespoons of Hemp protein
4 cups of unsweetened coconut milk(medium chain fatty acids for fast fat metabolism!)
2 cups of frozen blueberries(berries are the healthiest fruit, you can also use blackberries, raspberries etc...avoid strawberries though)
1/2 frozen banana
1 teaspoon of creatine monohydrate
1 teaspoon of glutamine monohydrate
small handful of slivered almonds
3-4 drops of liquid stevia(you can add more or less depending on your sweetness preference. Do not use sugar though)
1 cup of chopped kale
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
As for what kind of Hemp portein you should use, this one is my favorite.

So if you guys want to be hardcore like me, you've got to try this.

Re: Recipes... share them
-Saute diced onions on medium in a skillet in butter. Make sure to lower the heat and add more butter as time passes.
-When they are about halfway, add 1 pound of hamburger and brown the meat.
-Add in tomato sauce or if you prefer spaghetti sauce with a can of unmixed tomato soup concentrate.
-add in a packet of chili power or chili spices
-once it is nice and mixed, pop in about 1 cup of diced tomato and 1 cup of diced green peppers.
-Lower heat and let simmer until its all thickened.
Now you have chili or if you're daring, pop it onto a hamburger bun and top with shredded cheese for a superior sloppy joe. Made a thing of chili once, the whole family was all groans and complaints. I produced a pack of hamburger buns, and said, "No, we're having sloppy joes...." They loved my "Chili Joes."

I'm going to try that myself sometime, although I'll probably use green onions in place of the vegetable mix.

Does anyone have any quick/easy to make indian recipes. I have a curry cookbook but most everything in it is time consuming and calls for ingredients I don't always have laying around. I made Lamb karahi last night which was pretty good considering all the shortcuts I took.

There's a Chicken Tikka Masala recipe that I like. It's not quick/easy but it's not too hard/time-consuming. Part of the recipe involves marinating the chicken & making the yogurt sauce. Then you dip the chicken in the sauce and broil it. It's definitely the key to the great taste. Let me know if you want it.
