What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Smile: The Mega's newest CD goes on pre-order tomorrow...and you get the digital copy as soon as you pay up. Also, a "Sunglasses at night" cover on a Megaman 3 tribute album? Genius beyond words.

Frown: Bought some cheddar and bacon cheese the other day. A mix of two of the best things in the world should result in THE best thing in the world, right? It's kinda gross...
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Isn't it? I've been listening to it on YouTube while waiting for my actual CD to arrive from Amazon (should be here tomorrow).

It is, wow. I'm totally blown away by it. Also ordered it from Amazon and I had to get them to honor the $11.99 price on pre-order, but as they always do, credited my card for that amount no problem. Always good service there.

Smile: Went to a "Pops at the Park" yesterday, and the orchestra was excellent. But the best part was a misread from the emcee: "Our next performance is a melody from America's favorite musical, The Sound of Music. In this award winning film the musical Von Trap family finds ways to cope in Nazi occupied Australia".

He mistook Australia for Austria twice, and you could hear the crowd giggle heavily each time.

Frown: Ninja Turtles is being pushed back to 2014.

The Micheal Bay one?

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it being delayed.

It's more of a Paramount thing in general. They keep pushing back movies, and their release dates are all suspect. Upper management isn't showing solid decision making, and it's just not good for the industry.

That probably factors in heavily. Good point Sabrage.

The holders just grab the disc too tightly. I file all mine down a little so the disc does not flex upon removal.
This isn't so bad for the single-disc cases.

Wait until ExedExes tries to take the games out of the dual-disc cases where the disc-spindles aren't centered and thus don't flex. Not to mention the hexagon core (that offered the teeth some flex-space) has been replaced with a solid circle (with NO flex space).

Also, upset that the NBA Finals are almost over. Two (possibly three) more games in Miami? Good luck with that Scott Brooks.

Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Frown: After removing the jumper pak from my N64 and seeing that it wasn't dirty at all, I put it back in with no problem. When I try to play now, my game freezes about four times as often as before. Not sure if my SW: Rogue Squadron is just messed up or what.
