It's such a habit sometimes. Like almost a reflex action to blow on a cart if it doesn't boot the first time.Hobie-wan wrote: Blowing on the cart might remove some dust, but unless you've been storing carts out in the garage or using them to scrape dust bunnies from under the fridge there shouldn't be that much. The humidity and accidental spit from blowing in the cart actually makes things worse as it promotes corrosion as it dries. So please, don't blow in carts any more and tell others to stop doing so as well.
Shit like a month or so ago I was hanging out with a friend, telling him about how blowing into carts is bad because of the corrosion and shit. I pop in an SNES game and it doesn't turn on and what do I do? I fucking pull out the cart, blow on it, and put it back in, without even thinking about it.
Felt kinda dumb there.
