golden sun transfer save data in emulators

well i want to start playing golden sun on my hacked wii but i just realized how the heck will i be able to transfer my save data to the second game? im using Visual Boy Advance GX

As far as I recall you don't transfer save data. You're given a long code at the end of GS1 that you can enter when starting a new game in GS2.

How do you think you would transfer it from cart to cart if you had the two games and a GBA?

When i was a kid i used a link cable and two gbas

Well ok I guess that works, but they certainly don't expect everyone to have 2 GBAs just for this operation.

I know GS2 will ask you for the code from GS1 when starting a new game. It transfers all the information that way.

I can confirm that you are given a code at the end of the first game.

The link cable is a way to make it easy on yourself so you don't need to write down the 3 page code they give you. My advice would be to screenshot each page of the code and look at those when you boot up Lost Age.
