Playstation Vita thread
Re: Playstation Vita thread
No one bumping this thread today?
Gravity Rush was just released! I would love to tell you how it is, but my Amazon pre-order won't be here until the end of the week. I actually forgot that it was coming out until I noticed the charge in my bank account.

I plan on downloading the digital copy w/ free DLC later this week when I do some traveling. I'm purposely putting it off to try and finish up FF4 first without the distractionZenErik wrote:No one bumping this thread today?

Re: Playstation Vita thread
I'm playing through Gravity Rush right now for a review. Is it just me, or is this game not really that great? Sure, the artistic presentation is top-notch, but the gameplay gets tedious, you have to use hard-to-aim gravity kicks on everything to do any real damage, and it's way too easy to get disoriented during boss fights, or even normal navigation. I was expecting Super Mario Galaxy meets Infamous, and I got a headache.

I won't have the game until Monday or Tuesday. Then I'll let you know what I think of the gameplay. I remember the demo being great.

That's the impression I've gotten from other people.lisalover1 wrote:I'm playing through Gravity Rush right now for a review. Is it just me, or is this game not really that great? Re: Playstation Vita thread
I just finished Gravity Rush. Looking back, my biggest problem with the game is the story. There are more loose ends than conclusions, none of the characters are around long enough to be explained in any way that makes sense, and the pace of everything just moves WAY too fast. It feels like I'm playing through an abridged version of a full game. It's really frustrating, to be honest.
