baldure's gate is more of a pure rpg, so I would say no.
Not the Dark Alliance console games
Im sry I thought you were talking about the pc games. I have balders gate dark alliance II for the xbox. I havent played part one though. Anyway when I was asking my original question I meant 2.5d games.

The question is... very specific.

Im with ya brother, also Champions of Norath holds my top spot to memory.

My bud lou and dan would come by my work for the keys to my apt so they could gather loot and goodies for when I got home.Great F*n times,PS2,multitap,nice broken in controllers and 10 hours a day!

Norath has a beutiful world and if you guys get a chance with some friends give this a try please, its even held up today as Ive tried again with some buddys but didnt relive the past due to everyones conflicting schedules..but the magic is still there. :)

EDIT:Oh well you guys were talking about PC games,
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

I actually have both Chamions of Norrath and Champions: Return to Arms, and I am very much looking forward to playing them. My wife and I powered through the first two Dark alliance games a while back. (She loved them, and they were a lot better than I anticipated.) Moreoever, the Champions games were developed by Snowblind Studios, the team behind the first - and best - Dark Alliance game.

I am glad to hear that you recommend the Champions games so highly. Once we finish up Elebits (Wii), I will have to see if my wife would like to delve into another Dark Alliance-style quest.
