You are so punny.

You don't mind me mucking up your thread with 8-bit shots do you?

edit* I always thought it was really odd that KGBeast was introduced in the classic Batman Nes game as a laid back cigarette smoking red Ryu.

First game to depict someone smoking? I dunno.

It's a retro forum. Of course 8-bit is welcome. I've been meaning to grab some older screens myself.

Off the top of my head, as far as NES games go, there was Metal Gear and Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode before it.

Those are 87 and 88. At least as far as NES/Famicom stuff goes, Commando beats them in 86.

Planescape: Torment.
Although I didn't personally take this screenshot, I think it's pretty funny when you consider how game developers have a tendency to dress female characters in unpractical outfits for the sake of fan service. Festhall is the name of a brothel.

I like that Quake 2 shot.
It's like a cubist painting... only with blood everywhere and a giant gun in it.

Here's a pic from Rayman Origins.
This was my favorite boss battle in the game.
This bird's constant screaming had me laughing throughout the fight.

Love this game. Some of the best writing ever seen in a videogame.

Have you tried using the widescreen mods? The game looks real nice with them. Here's a shot I took with mods applied.

You mean the beginning?

I was at The Hive, but the mods I applied don't like old saves, so I'm back to the beginning. It's ok though. I think The Morgue is a great intro.
