Hahaha. I love Wrap, it's so broken and unreliable at the same time but it makes you run cool monsters so why not? :)

God, I remember in Pokémon Stadium I was facing Blaine and I was stuck in a Fire Spin trap for like half an hour because his Rapidash was faster than my Pokémon. It wasn't until I believe that the move finally missed that I was able to get on the offensive.

Oh, by the way, did you know you can actually wrap a ghost-type pokemon? It does no damage but it keeps trapping and thanks to a coding bug Wrap never actually runs out of PP. Problem? :D

Training and leveling in Ogre Tactics. Love that game, but damn is it annoying to grind and level up. Whenever I consider playing that game I always second-guess my desire because then I know I'll have to set the computer to just fight itself until everyone is finally up one level so my party doesn't get raped the next battle.

It's much easier to level up through random encounter battles - but the catch there is that the enemies are usually at a significantly higher level so you could potentially lose party members. You aren't able to cast resurrect until late in the game too, which makes it even more annoying when you lose a member.

In my opinion, if OT had the leveling system that FFT had, it would be perfect. In FFT leveling is actually fun and after a while you don't even realize you're party members are gaining levels.

I agree - the only thing that really chafed my ass was when you had a really long ladder to climb down and Yorda got to the bottom and decided to climb all the way to the top again! I'll never get those 20 seconds back!

Yeah, both of these annoyed me as well. The same concept with Shenmue is also present in Bully and just as annoying.

And the Ink Ribbon thing really makes no sense. Why should I be penalized for saving often? Isn't that encouraged in most games? And sorry I have to do other things sometimes like go to work and spend time with the wife RE.

Agreed, but at least in Bully it made sense, since you were a kid and at boarding school. In Shenmue though, Ryo was what? Like 18? Jesus, what a goody two shoes.

The Meat Circus in Psychonauts. It's like Double Fine took every bad design choice from 3D platformers and made a level out of them.
