Haha, go for it.GameMasterGuy wrote:Mind if I use this image in various jokes?
This is at my buddy's house. He has 6 of these cases, but got them as a teenager in the mid 1990s. He's looked for more, but can't find them. They are official Nintendo product, but unfortunately seem hard to come buy.Hazerd wrote:Breetai i want one of your SNES game cases in the background, i have 1 of those but it looks like you have more, where did you get yours?

I was wondering if you tried to power it on. It might burn your house down!GameMasterGuy wrote:Mind if I use this image in various jokes?Breetai wrote:
On topic, I did gram Devil Summoner for 19.99. Called about a million gamestops and found it somewhere in the 15 dimension of Neptune.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Recent finds (all Saturn):
Scud: The Disposable Assassin- $4.12 shipped
I got this solely because I had a nostalgic urge to reaquire it (about 11 years ago). Turns out, I had rose-tinted glasses.
It's interesting for letting one person control a character with the controller while another can use a gun to solely shoot, IIRC, but was not very fun in my reexperience of it. How do you beat level 2?!
Yahho Detana Twinbee, Da! Parodius, and Steamgear Mash- a great deal
Won't mention the price because it was a sweetheart deal (and because I may resell these soon), but the first two titles are fun, yet short shmups. Really unique games which make for interesting conversation.
The last title is a platform game I haven't had too much time with. Reminds me of Sonic 3D Blast with guns. I have to give it some more time, but it wasn't holding my interest too much (maybe it hurts that I don't understand the story).

I guess you mean the Yahho Detana Twinbee and Parodius Da! Deluxe Packs, right? Did you pay 500円 or so for them, or less?
Steamgear Mash is... okay. Yeah, Sonic 3D Blash with guns is not a bad way to describe it I guess.

You can tell us what you paid, not a big deal. The are all $12-20 games, not like your retiring on them. So...whaddya pay? Sorta the point of this thread

No, no, I'm in Texas. I'd love to go to Japan to visit my sister who's stationed there, but from what I understand Iwakuni is far from the shopping hotspot many of us hear about.Breetai wrote: Are you in Japan?

Yes, those are the two games (felt like shorthanding it). My impressions of Steamgear Mash were limited to a few minutes, so if I oversimplified it, sorry to sell it short.
You're right, it's not a big deal, and it won't break the bank. $25 shipped for the trio. My reservation usually is, and it makes more sense with higher value games, I don't like posting prices for fear of being lowballed in reselling. People have made offers to me on items in similar threads (on other forums) and said, "It's more than what you paid for" as if they're doing me a favor making the lowball offer in the first place.mjmjr25 wrote: Re-selling them here?

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
At the Pawn Shop:
Mario Party with partially torn label: $2.99
At the Thrift Store:
SSBM w/case: $1.99
Mario 64 Nintendo Power Guide: $1.99
At Game World:
Donkey Kong Game & Watch: I don't think the price I paid was a super deal, but it's the first time I've seen a Game & Watch in the wild. Plus, it was in pretty good condition.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I found a CIB Red Wii at the pawn shop a couple days ago for $60 and they let me pick a game off their shelf for free. They didn't have a lot to choose from so I got Lego Star Wars the Complete Saga. My oldest daughter has a birthday next month so I'm sitting the Wii back for her.
I was over at a buddy's house tonight and mentioned buying the Wii. He gave me for free:
Sonic and the Secret Rings
Namco Museum Remix
Guitar Hero Metallica
The Beatles Rockband
Guitar Controller
He said he'd have to dig it up, but he is also going to give me Wii sports and a bunch of accessories to go with it (golf clubs, tennis rackets, etc)
