Re: Torchlight II
Since I have no interest in D3 due to the online and auction BS, I am more interested in Torchlight. I enjoyed the first game and look forward to multiplayer in II. So yes I will have it at some point, as will some other friends that aren't on Racket. I figure we'll have a pool of players to join up.

Re: Torchlight II
If it ever comes out I plan to get it.
the first one was a great game and the lack of DRM on the disk made me love it.
it was refreshing to me at the time to encounter a game that wasn't hobbled by having to take the game cd with my laptop while also not having to worry about having an active internet connection to play the game.
Its Unfair to call the first one a D2 clone and just a copy. The game, while not deep, felt well rounded from the talent trees to the story line.It felt to me as if each part of the game had been given an equal amount of care by the developers. Being able to turn your companion into another type of monster by feeding them fish felt really fun and added a little bit of discovery for me(thought of A Boy and his Blob and the jellybeans).
The Shared Stash was a genius idea.
The game was easy to pick up and intuitive I never felt that the game mechanics got in the way of actually enjoying the game(I'm looking at you horrible jump from castlevania). All the challenges i ran into felt fair and the game had a fun colorful world almost like playing a Saturday morning cartoon.
I hope they follow up and keep alot of the great features with the second one.

Yes. Might be Steamworks, though, so it won't make much difference.

Yeah, the first one's full price was $20. It's still too much for me, especially considering the recent exchange rates.
