I thought the DC version also retained the 60fps and improved character models?

I heard RE2 DC did, but not RE3 DC.

Both did! The 60fps only refers to the CG cut scenes which were never running at 60fps to begin with! DCc version trumps the GCN version if you ask me!

^I would really like to know because I kept hearing that CGs in RE3 DC didn't run at 60fps, which was one of the things people were let down by when both RE were released for the dreamcast.

Well, I know the CG cutscenes are not running on full 60fps (xactly like on PS1). I can check later today if RE3 on GCN has these cutscenes running at a higher framerate...

I figured the cutscenes were originally rendered at 60fps and then downscaled/compressed/etc when they put them on the ps1.

Like they have higher resolution masters of all the CG scenes.

I will make my comparisons for RE2. I actually got this pretty cheap for around 16 dollars.

Resident Evil 4
I'm still undecided on Resident Evil 4. I already own the PS2 version which has extra stuff compared to the graphically superior Gamecube version. The Wii is supposed to have all the features of the PS2 and also adds Motion Control Aim which I found more accurate then an analog stick in other games. Wii RE4 does have a Classic Controller option but not Gamecube controller support.

No need for a RE2 comparison.. DC version is superior, no confusion there lol!

but not Gamecube controller support.
If this is true, then there goes any cchance of me buying the Wii version of RE4. GCN ver. FTW!
