Emboldened by alcohol, I decided to finally restart Amnesia.
20 minutes later I went and played Oracle of Seasons instead.

Brutal Legend for XBox 360:

Nothing groundbreaking here, but sooo much fun if you're a metal fan.

You got that right!BurningDoom wrote:Brutal Legend for XBox 360:

I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

The GBC version is brilliant. (If I recall correctly, EGM listed it as one the best games of all time in its 150th issue.)Razzmatazz wrote:Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour for the Gamecube.
Personally I prefer the Mario Golfs to the Tennis and whatever else Mario plays. I loved the 64 version, and the GBA one is brilliant but I can't put down the Cube version. Just unlocked all the star characters and going to tackle the tournaments now. The first few groups of courses seem pretty standard, and then you suddenly get taken to Peach's castle where there is pipes and all sorts. I think I would have preferred character themed courses like Mario Party does, but it's challenging all the same. It is also strangely relaxing and although I would never play golf, and can not stand watching it, I can't get enough Mario Golf! I hope they do a version on the Wii U.
Has anyone played the GBC version? As I hear that is also brilliant.
Do not go into it thinking that you will be playing a game as Mario and Luigi on Mario-themed courses with magical clubs, however. It is more like a golf-simulation/RPG hybrid. It is a strange combination that works incredibly well. I learned a lot about golf from this game, and it is my personal favorite golf game. I highly recommend it.

Finally got around to playing Vagrant story. Definitely the best JRPG I've played, no constant annoying random encounters or tiresome turn-based combat. Why hasn't a sequel been made?

I randomly got into the alpha for War of the Roses. It certainly plays like an alpha. It's also very pretty. Think that's about all I'm allowed to say.

Just put Persona 3 Portable down for the night. Finished maxing out Kenji's Social Link, and preparing to head back into Tartarus.
WANNA GET YOUR WALLS CRUSHED?

I'm playing Megaman X again. I haven't memorized the levels yet, so I figure I should be playing it more.
These are my finest threads. Please, enjoy:

Although the combat isn't nearly as intricate, FFXII kind of feels like a spinoff. (same devs and all).Onikage wrote:Finally got around to playing Vagrant story.
