Anyone posted this link already? I think it'd be a good thing to have the first post contain a list of links to sites like this:

This adventure game about starting up a comedy club is going to be the next English translated release from Nyu Media, who have also released Satazius and will be releasing the eXceed games soon. Cherry Tree High Comedy Club will be released on all major digital distribution sites on February 29th and
I really need to buy this but my backlog is a little big so I've been waiting for a sale. It is still only available directly through them so maybe when it is on Steam it will go down.

Hmm... it seems I shall be bumping this today.

Well, I can't believe that you would have a Doujin game thread without Guardian of Paradise on it. Shame on you. :)

This is a game by Buster, the creator of Hydra Castle Labyrinth, Akuji the Demon, and Vacant Ark. It's sort of a combination of the Legend of Zelda and the Sword of Mana. The item system is entirely spirit based, and the levels are puzzle oriented dungeons like the Legend of Zelda.

I had played Akuji before, which is a very good game.

I just played this game on the weekend and this game is also very good, a bit on the easy side for people used to Zelda games I guess. Takes some 3 to 4 hours to finish, only a few puzzles or segments are actually a bit challenging but I found it an enjoyable experience throughout and didn't get bored with the lack of challenge (possibly because the game is short enough).

The 2nd link Nyne included has a translation patch.

Ivo.

Comiket is happening this weekend, so the latest bunch of doujin games are bound to start getting some attention.

Here is a video (made by Edelweiss, developers of Ether Vapor) that shows off 82 of the games to be on display at the Japanese convention.

JT, thanks for the link.

I watched a little bit of the video. There are definitely some titles there that I need to write down for future shopping reference.
