The downloadable game section needs to be updated:

Direct2Drive was bought out by GameFly, and is now part of their service (it is no longer called Direct2Drive).

Impulse was bought out by GameStop. The impulsedriven.com site will still work, and is still labeled as "Impulse", but don't be surprised that there is a Gamestop logo. Also, I'm not sure if it is distinguishable from GameStop's main PC download service:

There are also a few new indie games digital distributors:

http://www.indievania.com/
Indievania focuses on selling indie games and 100% of the profits go straight to the developers.

http://www.desura.com/
Desura is a bit like Steam for indie games.
My contributions to the Racketboy site:
Browser Games ... Free PC Games ... Mixtapes ... Doujin Games ... SotC Poetry

Risingstuff.com is also done, so I guess that can be deleted.

Has anyone used cheapgamerstore.com ? Very good prices on accessories and free shipping but they don't give much info on the choices. For instance I'm looking for a cheap DC controller--they have one for $3, another for $.01 and both are supposedly new... One extremely annoying problem with their website--you can't press back or you get one of those resubmit user info screens come up.

See this thread (http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=38164) for my new annoyances with Lukiegames.com.

Also here: http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=35369.

The owner of Lukiegames chimed in and offered some very reasonable explanations for things.

Man, There's tons of new places I never knew existed, but to contribute what I can, I'll just post some scores:

http://stoneagegamer.com/ - 5/5 - they had what I wanted when nobody else sold qiltd at a reasonable price and the shipping to Canada was on-par. Good stuff

http://www.racketboy.com/store/ - 5/5 - the reason I joined the forum - the DC VGA box recommended by Dreamcast Junkyard and I think I've bought mostly everything else available multiple times. Easy and consistent.

http://www.estarland.com/ - 2/5 Bought something and nothing happened. Tried it again with something small and got dinged extra shipping for customs.

Play-Asia.com - 3/5 They used to be better. Multiple buys, but listing out of stock stuff and having to hound them for an explaination of why it will never arrive before getting a refund soured me to them. Not that their in-stock was a bad experience. I skip their google referrals now since they don't usually have the stuff.

https://www.risingstuff.com/ - 4/5 Their prices are ok for their predominately rare uheard-of stock to be sure. I bought the Segata Sanshiro vinyl when they liquidated it and they sent it without the sleeve - 2 peices of cardboard with the record inside... the other stuff arrived as expected.

http://www.ncsxshop.com - 4/5 Another site that lists all their out-of-stock stuff that will never be in-stock. Another site I skip on google searches. When they had stuff in-stock it was a smooth transaction, but again, I had to hassle them to admit that my order would never be fulfilled because there was no chance of the items ever being restocked. Refunds were given upon request.

http://www.atariage.com/store/ - 5/5 Awesome staff, and stuff you just can't get anywhere else. Multiple orders were shipped promptly and professionally.

http://www.retrousb.com/ - 5/5 Bought lots of stuff from them, and never had a problem. Their outsourced comissioned talent for their products are famous and their products are as they describe them. I've never bought a repro USB controller so I can't attest to any quality issues I've heard. All their adapters and other merchandise are top notch IMO.

Racketboy Forum 5/5 - My first and usually only go-to place for reqests or selling stuff (of course). Well maintained and active forum make for smooth transactions every time. Troublemakers are quickly squashed transparently so we rarely see anything but clean safe business.

http://www.gog.com - 5/5 Many purchases have always resulted in complete satisfaction. What other site goes the extra mile to provide not only the game but all the special-edition-like extras that weren't even available in the retail package downloadable? I regularly visit to see what other awesome games they've worked their magic on.

http://www.amazon.com - 2/5 They rarely make anything good available to Canada, so all I can do is drool over the items on their site. Their shiping policy usually ends up a a brick wall since I cannot even contact the seller to work out a deal when I find something good. Needless to say mostly every time I've tried to use their site, I cannot even order the item I've found for-sale.

http://www.ebay.com - 4/5 The prices are mostly good, but when I need something right-away I usually end up going here and paying way too much. Can't really fault the site for that, but I have been screwed before, and their fraud preention squad did nothing. I've had a few items never arrive and was unable to recover anything from the deal. That being said, I've used their site hundreds of times and it's mostly a good experience. A site I could not do without.
