Thanks guys - so saves that do save to your system. Are those transferred via the SD card?

The system has no internal memory (or if so it's all devoted to system updates), everything not on the cart is on your SD card. All cart saves are tied to game carts, I have yet to see an exception.

I think it should be possible for games to save on an SD card if the developer so wishes. I wish it would happen--I'd love to have the ability to make more than one save for games like Pokémon, since Game Freak seems to love their limited time-only events, which makes it frustrating if you want to restart your game.

I hope there is a 3DS XL. And I hope someone will buy my current 3DS, lol. Not liking the 3DS much at all anymore... Vita just does a lot more for me. But a 3DS XL with a better placed d-pad would be most excellent!!

Link to the Past just cause I'm curious how different it will be (Majoras's Mask is nice, but we all know that it will be just like Ocarina of Time 3D)

LttP and MM are my favorite 2D and 3D Zeldas, respectively. Either would be awesome.

I'd be more for a game in the 2D style if that was the only option, I don't want another remake. Ocarina of Time 3D was a cool tech demo and a good throw back but let's not just remake everything for the 3DS.

Especially not Majora's Mask because I pretty much hate that game.

Looks like those waiting for a redesign might be out of luck.

I don't believe it for even a second that we won't see a 3DS lite in the next year. Nintendo released the freaking DSi (anyone remember how everyone was thinking WTF about that? A 3DS XL/Lite/whatever is a guarantee at some point)
