Good and Cheap TG-16 Games?

Post by racketboy »

This guide is due for an update:

Any recommendations on ones to include that aren't on there already?

I'm very surprised that keith courage is not on that list. That game is actually pretty cheap on ebay. Blazing lasers can be added to the slightly above $10 section.

One problem with overhauling this article is I think you're going to have to bump up the prices. Even if you left the list alone, TG stuff has been rising and I doubt you're going to get any of those games for that cheap unless you're really lucky.

The problem is that it doesn't fulfill the other qualification too well.

In terms of cost and availability, Japanese PC Engine games are always recommended.

Galaga 88/90 is a great addition that shouldn't be too expensive for either the TG16 or PCE.

Yeah, US games have not dropped in price, and many have gone up. I'm pretty sure updating the list with a focus on US games will simply shrink the game pool. Then again, leaving it un-updated may simply leave people with a false impression of what they can get.

I can raise the limit if need be -- but if there's ones that are in the cheaper ranges and not listed in the existing one, please let me know so I don't overlook it.

I'll do some poking around this week and see what I can turn up.

It does look like Bonk has gone up. It's usually $15-20 now. :?

If you raise the limit, Fantasy zone can be added. It seems to be in the $15-25 range.
