Persona 4 Arena

I've been on the fence with this. On one hand obviously I really want to play it, Arc System is my favorite fighting game dev. On the other hand, someone told me that this is going to be a canon sequel to Persona 4, which I haven't played yet. I don't like going out of sequence with games, so I think next time I'm wanting to play a new Arc fighter I'll check out Nurarihyon no Mago, and just plan to play this in the distant future once I've played Persona 4.

You can probably wait a day or two from release and let one of us figure out if there's any actual P4 spoilers in the narrative. There's one I can think of off the top of my head, but it's something you figure out before the reveal in P4 anyway.

so Atlus just announced that the preorder bonus is a soundtrack. That makes me want to preorder it. Those of you who are planning on picking it up, do you intend to get the 360 or PS3 version?

Plus I am not sure whether the US release will be region free on the Xbox.

I just recently got a PS3, and I'm hoping to pick this game up within the first week or so that it comes out. Hopefully I'll be able to scrounge up the money for a PS3 arcade stick by then.

How have I not heard of this yet? I'm still playing through persona three before I get onto four (I actually have it, just haven't played it yet.) But I'm just going to assume that 4 is amazing as well, making this game awesome by proxy and preorder it.

I was going to post that earlier bit couldn't find this thread. Why are you going to be importing? Your ps3 is jp? I find it really odd that Atlus of all companies would be the one to region lock a game. Makes me wonder if there's some kind of exclusive stuff we won't be getting. Or it could be that they just don't want sales cannibalized by importers. Damn you people and your impatience.
