Since my girlfriend is out of town for the next couple of weeks, I decided to get myself a dozen milky babes to enjoy.

The one time my dad tried Asian beer, he said it was some of the worst he ever tasted. It was from Taiwan, I think.

I live close to an incredible brewery that has the best milk stout I've ever l put in my mouth.

Funny enough, the brewmiester is lactose intolerant, and they sell t-shirts that read "Fight Lactose Intolerance, Drink Milk Stout!".

I've never tried milk stouts, o.pwuaioc. I enjoy a few stouts, like dare I say Guinness. Some have an overpowering bitterness, which I haven't quite developed the taste for yet. What's your opinion of those two, what's the flavor like?

Could be. It was nearly 10 years ago, so I can't be sure.

If you like Guinness, you'll like the Left Hand Milk Stout (the one on the left), except it's a bit creamier and smoother. It's still very light, unfortunately. I like them a bit heavier. If you don't like hops, skip the Southern Tier. It's a very confusing taste, certainly a smooth milk stout, but absolutely hoppy, leaving both a sweet and a bitter taste simultaneously. Because of my expectations, the bitterness was more overpowing, though.
