Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I saw someone get shot and killed about a week ago on my way to the post office to ship a game. It was only one in the afternoon. I wasn't even shook up. I just found out today that the kid died is why I'm posting about it.
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
^ Thats a little messed up.
In other news, look who we found in the back yard.

He's just a little baby.....Dwaaaaaaa.....
Must have fallen out of a tree or something? We have called the proper authorities, but it's Sunday so who knows when we'll get a response
For right now he has a new temporary home in one of our bathrooms (far away from the cat.)

There's a towel in there with him now. We're not monsters.
He snaps his little beak at us if we get too close. I'm told that's a good sign.

What have you tried feeding him?
What have you tried feeding him?
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
We tried to give him some water (since, you know, we don't know what to give him and wanted to keep him hydrated), but he just backed up further into his little corner of the box and snapped his beak at usGameMasterGuy wrote:D'aww :3

Luckily the lady we called sent someone nearby who's already taking care of a couple baby owls to come pick him up. He (she said he was probably a screech owl) is in good hands now
I'm just glad we noticed him before something came along to try to eat him. He's so young he wouldn't have had a chance against a squirrel with cerebral palsy.

Wow you must live in real nice town if you're witnessing people get gunned down in the streets heh. Worst death I've witnessed was a guy get hit by a truck on a motorcycle blazing out of an intersection. I was the first car behind the red light and saw it all go down, the dude literally got split in half. It was fucking nuts. I'll probably never forget that incredibly disgusting image.flex wood wrote:I saw someone get shot and killed

Of course, not having seen an animal die is probably more common than having seen one die.
