Back to the Future Biff.

They wasted Guy Pearce and dressed him up like future Biff.

If you want someone to look old, hire someone who IS OLD. Don't waste good talent and make him look incredibly silly at the same time.

It wasn't nearly as smart as it wanted to be, but "one of the dumbest movies of all time?" It's amusing you mentioned Tyler Perry movies just one post prior; I could fill that list with Perry movies alone. (I stopped reading that LiveJournal article when he started talking about 2000AD)

Did anyone really expect Ridley Scott to suddenly rebound after the craptacular disaster which was Robin Hood?

Not to bash the guy as I don't expect to be as good as my job either by the time I'm 76. It's time for him to retire and make room for a younger generation of talented directors.

I gather from this post that you haven't even seen it.

I'm a broken record.

I like the movie, but it has more "Cool...Wait..What?" moments than I can remember for a very long time. Not that every movie's script has to be perfect, but it should make some sense. PROMETHEUS contradicts common sense like no movie that comes to mind.

I'll agree with you there, I kept waiting for more bits of Guy as a younger Weyland like that presentation video that came out before the movie. I imagine when this comes out on disc there will be far more movie and tons of extras like that.

Otherwise I think you watched a different movie though sir.
