Okay, I dragged a pic from the R.O.B. Mod and Repair Guide over here to avoid jumping back and forth. You can see how all the pieces and different color gears are set in the housing. The two white gears connected directly to the arms slide loosely on their small metal shafts.ReddMcKnight wrote:I didn't see a new pic...CRTGAMER wrote:Some of the pieces inside are probably not lined up. The small gear pieces and arm teeth are a real pain to get back in place. Jump back to the Guide, I posted a pic of the pieces and how they sit inside the housing.
When you had it apart, was the gear shaft assembly solid as one piece?
What do you mean by solid as one piece?
EDIT: Also, some of the gears on the small metal rod seem to slide up and down the rod. Are they supposed to do that?
The long Horizontal shaft in front should basically be one piece with no gears slipping or sliding down the shaft. Take a close look where I put the beige colored glue on the clutch clip gear to the right. As a preventative measure I dabbed brown non sticky wheel bearing grease on all the gear teeth.
