Thousands of people make a movie happen. Don't let one bad apple be the reason you miss a movie, you silly you.

Christian Bale is a Grade A douche. Not going to stop me from seeing RISES.

True, but he didn't help ruin the NolanBat franchise like Lindelof helped ruin Lost. And I know that the guy's already been paid for his work on the film, but it's my personal little boycott. I feel better that I didn't add a single decimal point to something he worked on. Same with Star Trek 2.

@Stark, Ive never read WWZ, so I dont have an attachment to it.

Oh, and back on topic:

I watched Superman Vs. The Elite last night. I haven't read the comic story, so I dont know how it compares, but it was alright. I really enjoyed how they made Superman actually 'super'. Some of the stuff he could do like his speed and strength were nice to see. Everyone always shows Superman being super by having 'ice breath' and that he can fly. YOU GUYS KNOW HE USED TO JUGGLE PLANETS RIGHT? Christ. Anyway, the action was pretty cool. Also liked that the movie was slightly more adult with people dying, slight course language and blood and violence.

What I hated about it - that awful, awful art. So terrible. And I didn't know that Superman was related to the Crimson Chin. So ridiculous. The art was just so amateur and foolish looking. Other than that, it was highly enjoyable.

That's all fine and well, and there's nothing wrong with a personal boycott.

I do have to throw this out there though in an attempt for you to change your mind: Best use of 3D I've seen since Cloudy W/ A Chance. It's utilized when it should be, and doesn't shove it down your throat. That said, I prefer the regular movie going experience but Prometheus was a welcomed surprise (I didn't have a choice at the screening).

Also on the positive side, you can keep and wear the glasses and pretend you are Lebron James giving a post game interview.

Promotheus... think I was a little disappointing, and I'm a huge Ridley Scott fan. I dunno. It was a decent watch. Expecting another Alien or Blade Runner is a joke and I didn't go in with that mindset, but I dunno... it was just decent sci-fi at best to me.

I expected such an outcome based on my personal impressions. I went in with low expectations as well.

You guys are nuts. This movie has future Biff calling super aliens Buttheads. It opens with an engineer eating alien caviar and falling apart while doing a swan dive. You've got Theron being so dumb she actually doesn't have the sense to run the right way from a crashing ship. A scientist talking to an alien maggot/cobra thingy like it is a puppy. A "Grab a Prize" claw performing surgery. A dead guy coming back to life as an all powerful mutant which is never explained. A robot keeps talking to a guy who is said to be in hibernation. People willing to go on a suicide mission to save Earth and we don't even know their names (other than black guy, asian guy, beard guy)! This movie is dumber than a bag of hammers and you ARE missing out on the fun.
