When I open My Posts after a day of not being here, I middle-click on every thread with new posts without reading the titles. There's usually about a full pages worth of them, so I don't bother with that. So being able to mark threads so that they won't appear would be handy in that situation.

The technological problems alone put that firmly in the 'I don't think we can do that' column.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

It would be really cool, but our quote system is so basic that like Flake says it's not feasible.

I periodically search my own name just in case there's something I missed. Because that would really bother me.

Was this directed at me? You should use quotes.

Anthropomancy.

I know we already have several ongoing meet-up/playgroup threads, but a separate "Clubs" subforum would be useful when those go unused for several weeks/months. I don't know if we have any large enough to warrant such a thing, but then a seperate section might attract more attention to them. Game- or series-specific subforums might also be needed, as the need arises. (This is more of a PC thing... It's pretty easy to hop on Xbox Live and see who's online, but with PC you're spanning multiple clients and interfaces and organizing playtime isn't quite so easy)
