Im sure its good in its own right, but its not worth the xtra money because its Rare when you can just get another copy on PS2 or Xbox, or just get a older or newer year.noiseredux wrote:why do you say it's not good? Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
well I agree with you there for the most part. I mean, if someone is a GCN collector then it's worth more to them. But yes, the game is available on PS2 or Xbox. But you did specifically say it was "not good." (Also when you capitalize the word "rare" it's kind of confusing because it makes me think of the company Rare.)Hazerd wrote: Im sure its good in its own right, but its not worth the xtra money because its Rare when you can just get another copy on PS2 or Xbox, or just get a older or newer year.

Ha that was exactly what I was thinking when I read his post. I was like "Rare? What do they have to with this?"noiseredux wrote:well I agree with you there for the most part. But I do have my GCN collection on the back burner, so I'll probably keep the complete one. Maybe I can get the other disk to a fellow collector who wouldn't mind going disk-only for a while.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Dear Racketboy. I think I have a problem... whenever I see something I really, really want in the wild, I overpay for it. >_> Feel free to laugh at me but I dropped $80 on everything in the photo below.

This lot was set up at a yard sale I stopped at today with a price of $80. I tried getting the woman to budge for a lower price or just sell the Nomad separately. But alas, I was caught in the classic "I'm-selling-my-husbands-stuff-and-he'll-kill-me-if-I-lower-the-prices" scenario. But it was my first time ever laying eyes on a Nomad and I... couldn't help myself
I've wanted a Nomad for ages, probably since I started collecting games about a year ago. This might sound stupid but the reason I wanted one was so I can play Genesis games before I go to sleep while laying in bed. I have a bad habit of not finishing many console games, but I usually play handhelds before bed and thus I finish waaaay more handheld games.
I probably wouldn't be having buyer's remorse if not for the fact that I own most of the other stuff in the photo (with the exceptions of Toki, General Chaos, Space Invaders '91 and the Game Genie). Those games are somewhat uncommon according to Digitpress, so that's kind of cool, but I still wish I'd have walked away from the sale. Oh well, maybe this will be my excuse to start trading my extra stuff here on RB?
I apologize for all the bitching and moaning. I'll excuse myself and go play games now.

Actually 2k3 isn't a bad game by any means. And with "rare"- I lost a complete auction that went for less than $40 recently. This game held a higher price tag a few years ago for whatever reason.Hazerd wrote:Sell, like other Rare games out there, this game is proof of a Rare game that isnt good or really sought after being worth some money, personally i would sell the shit out of it if i found one.Pichu wrote:I prefer human to human High School basketball playing.dunpeal2064 wrote:Nice! But yeah...now I'm not sure what to do with them. Not exactly a sports game player.
GREAT find though - you can fetch some of your investment back on the disc-only on eBay I'd imagine.

For whatever reason, this was labelled as "Like-New" in the Amazon marketplace, but the description was "BRAND NEW and SEALED DELUXE EDITION". And it was.

Yeah, but I'm gonna try to show it to some certain folk around here. I know that the price has dropped recently so I feel like being generous first and then trying my luck on eBay.retrosportsgamer wrote: Actually 2k3 isn't a bad game by any means. Also, nice buy on Dodonpachi Ressurection, I almost didn't see the Deluxe Edition and thought the CD came with all copies of the game.
