Some good articles mixed in with ones about banging chicks on your TMNT sheets. Kotaku is too much of a mixed bag, I prefer to go in expecting the worst. Then when a nice one like this pops up I'm pleasantly surprised.

But seriously this was a great one and right on the money about the downfall of E3.

I think it's interesting that PAX ends up being the really exciting show these days. You have a trade floor filled with every big name that isn't Blizzard (because they decided to hold their own convention) and they're showing off their stuff. PAX is where we first heard about DNF, and regardless of your opinion of the final product the announce was a huge deal.

I think gamescom (for PC games and for European publishers and Sony (who is still a very big player in Europe) and the Tokyo Games Show (for Japanese publishers and Nintendo) are still big on announcements. I don't know what has gone wrong with E3....

E3 is going downhill. I've been dissapointed by most of it, but the few high poits were there. Personally, I'm waiting for another Nintendo conference, which will happen later this summer and detail things not currently said. I'm excited for that.

Watching a G4 rerun this morning, I was slightly interested in seeing this Ni No Kuni game. It looks beautiful, though the idea of it being so childlike seemed unappealing, along with the fact the Howl's Moving Castle people helped make it makes me wary that it could be decent but have absolute crap story.

This controller thingy looks cool http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/07/cron ... oller-and/, it allows you to use a PS3 remote on a 360 or vice-versa. Works with the Wiimote too? Not sure what I would use it for exactly, but I do prefer the 360 controller, I could see getting it to play PS3 games with if it didn't cost too much.

It was pretty awesome hearing about the announcement at the show that year. PAX is one of the few conventions I attend these days that is worth it!! 8)

Phil Spenser states that the Xbox will be around for a while longer. Kind of makes sense with what they were pushing at E3

Anyone link to the Amazon E3 sale page yet?
