Best Metal Albums of the 80s

Mrs. Metal Jesus joins me for a very special music episode, where we reminisce about our favorite Metal albums & bands of the 1980s. And when we say "metal", we don't mean Bon Jovi, Poison or Warrant. Music is a big part of our lives and this is a nice deviation this week from video games. We hope you like it!

Awesome! I'll be sure to check it out when I get back, but I'm about to leave for me the wife's anniversary trip to the coast.

I hope you included some Metallica, Megadeth, and Iron Maiden.

I don't have time to watch the video now, but it better include Jethro Tull's Crest of a Knave.

Nice to see Death as an honorable mention...

I would've put Celtic Frost in there somewhere too though!

It was good. I like that ya'll decided to move the Hair metal to a seperate show. Personally, besides a couple bands, I don't do much hair metal, so I think that worked much better.

Love your hair man.

Good thing you guys mentioned The Number of the Beast, but you should have picked Powerslave over Killers :P

Can't watch the vid (@ work), but I love 80s metal: Motorhead, Death, Slayer, Candlemass, Kreator, Atheist, Bolt Thrower, Morbid Saint, Amebix, I could go on all day...

You should have included some lesser known bands like Praying Mantis, Leatherwolf, Morbid Saint, EvilDead, Riot, Cloven Hoof, and Running Wild instead of just the most popular stuff.

Two consecutive mentions of Morbid Saint makes me happy :)
