Lifestyles of the gaming and loaferous

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Looks like I'm cracking my neck in the photo. Pretty badass.

I would love to see some guides on fitness training, power lifting, & vegan cooking. A high percentage of gamers are couch potatoes who should change their ways.
If not trolling, I am a vegetarian and have lots of good recipes that can be made vegan. :)

Haha damn how did I miss this thread.

I actually spend more time working out than I spend gaming. I just don't talk about it very much. 8)

I actually just tried UFC personal trainer for the Kinect and it mostly sucks since the focus seems to be on duration and speed rather than intensity and good form. It does however have a decent fitness assessment with the exception of the crunch test. Every good personal trainer knows that the plank test is a far better way to test core strength than the crunch test.

I'm a certified Assisted Living Administrator. When I put in time at an assisted living center, my job is to keep people sedentary.

Jack, I'm with JT as far as recipes go, but keep it in the food thread.

You need some vitamin D dude. Get some sun
I'm completely neutral in this thread and opinions on exercise and such. However, you can't blame somebody for not being tan. I have pretty much the exact same tan as him. Guess what? It took me all my life to get it to that point. I burn, peel, come back whiter. Its hard as hell to tan for some people.

Don't know if this applies to Jack, but it bothered me. Being redheaded can be an extremely large burden.

I'm second generation German, and I just can't tan. When I flex my shoulders and arms have these huge and kinda gross looking green veins that kind of "pop" out. Not kidding. If I'm calm, no green vein popping (no hulk jokes please) but if I stretch and tense my arms up, green veins.

I don't personally have any veiny problems. I peronally try to avoid having my veins popping out, like some I know. Sometimes it can't be helped. But I think it looks bad and seems like it could have medical implications.

I'm also German, along with Irish, English, and a bit of Native American. I'm destined to be a very white alcoholic. Oh well.

Both of my Parent's parents were German immigrants before WWII. My paternal Grandfather's name was Ludwig, and my Father's name is Johann (goes by John). My wife is also of German decent (eh, 2/3rds is close enough) and are kids will definitely have blue eyes and blonde hair (unless she cheats on me).
