Its a great stick for sure, but you get more bang for your buck with Q4RAF. For $150 (what I paid) you get a tri-modded stick right out the box, velvet felt bottom panel (simply amazing!), very amazing customer service straight from china manufacture that go above and beyond the call of duty, and tried and true sanwa denshi components.

I was def interested in a HORI VLX, that was until but they brought about the Hori Fighter Edge which I find more intriguing! I'm dying to test out that new proprietary hayabusa stick it houses and the new touch panel features seems amazing for a tourney play!

You got a Q4RAF too? How did you come across QanBa? Can't remember if I mentioned them to you, haha. I have two Q4 RAF sticks. :D Great stuff.

Wish there'd be more 3-in-1 sticks on the market.

XS Games was smoking some mighty fine crack in their early days. They used more or less that same image for Mobile Light Force on PS1 (Gunbird) and Mobile Light Force 2 PS2 (Shikigami no Shiro/Castle Shikigami).

More or less my a$$. That's the same damn image. All they did different was show the non-cropped image, move the lower right flames over, add a smoking car, a couple extra robots and a couple missed shots by the girls feet.

Exactly, they moved pieces around. But they added things too.
Image

Explosion above Asian on 2, above her gun on 1.
Robot above Asian's gun on 2, between Asian and blond's head on 1.
Robot above blond's gun on 2, above her shoulder on 1.
Robot far above black's head on 2, right above on 1.
More robots to the right of the black girl on 2.
Fire shrapnel heading toward Asian's knee in 2, at her ankle in 1.
Explosion between the blond and black girl on 2, between Asian and blond's legs on 1.
Exploding car under Asian's left leg in 2, not on 1.
Purple ricochets on 2, not on 1.
Car on fire behind black girl on 2, not on 1.
Fire pointing at black girl's knee and shin on 2, covering calf and ankle on 1.
Blond a little further down on 2. You can see the Asian's midriff and the blond and black girl's elbows are even on 2.
Buildings in background mostly purple on 2, mostly orange/brown on 1.
Five total robots on 2, three on 1.

I'd say that's enough differences to say mostly the same image. :P

Alright, but still, if they were going to put the least amount of effort into it, why not just use the original Japanese cover and just paste "Mobile Light Force 2" on the cover and call it a day? It would have taken less effort to do that than it would to move layers around in Photoshop.....*sigh*
