I wonder how much of that statement is Japanese modesty and how much of it is them really being fish out of water. People are really upset by the response, but I think it might just be that the game is only going to be a straight port and not that it will be a worse port.

And that's pretty much exactly what the article says. It's just going to be a straight port. From is very modest, they've been apologizing for the Dark Souls frame-rate issues (even though it's not a big deal at all) since release.

Yea nbd the frame rate chugs a bit in only two parts of the game. It's not game breaking in the least bit.

I've read a bunch of comments about people planning to pirate DS because of this which just brings up the whole entitled whiny PC gamer stereotype. Bunch of little girls.

It always irks me how people use the slightest complaint as justification for piracy.

I'm happy it's coming out for PC at all. I've wanted to play it, but don't want to invest in a PS3... though that becomes increasingly difficult as more great games reach that console.

It's worth it. PS3 is definitely showing that it has the legs its father did, plus you can get a ton of games digitally, especially since they're going balls-out with Playstation Plus it seems.

No shit. I've spent the last two days just trying download all the free stuff they are throwing plus members.

I don't have a PC to game on but if there was the possibility of a pirated copy playing better I would buy the game then pirate after the fixes were made. Or if I was broke pirate then buy it during a sale or a price drop.

So is anyone here playing this? I spent most of today watching my old roommate play today. It was pretty entertaining watching him die.

I was a nice guy and got him some good gear on a couple suicide runs. I was trying not to help him out to much since playing the game blind and not knowing what's around the next corner is half the fun.
I can't wait until he gets to sen's fortress and opens that chest. I really hope I'm there to see that happen.
