Overall its a let down. I didn't see them all but I got the Idea
Halo 4000, Call of Duty apes from mars II Black Ops , Forza One More TIme just buy it , God of War 13 cause we have no new ideas, RE 102,2999 yes its still scary since 1996 , .
This is a real let down.
I am glad that Nintendo is picking up with the Hardcore stuff i see with ZombieU and batman, whatever happened to the casual market Nintendo? None the less they had just to do yet another Super Mario Bros which I am not so sure how is it different from the one on the Wii.
Any way, you are a bit late into the competition Nintendo, I can see them ending way last in the next generation, but I guess they will still end up profiting none the less like they always do.
The only exciting thing I heard of was the smart glass or whatever its called where you can use your touch gadget for gaining info or maybe extra gameplay modes on any game. I believe Sony will have something similar.
Nintendo is doing that same, but you have to have THEIR controller to do it. its more likely that people will have their iPhones or iPads along with them than going around with their Wii U controls.
if It was me, i would make Nintendo enter the tablet market, and make a Nintendo tablet that can be used as your controller with the WiiU. Its really kind of like the current controller idea but the controller is clunkier

Yeah, why would you have your Wii U controller on you when you'rer playing a Wii U game. That's pretty crazy.kingmohd84 wrote:Overall its a let down. I didn't see them all but I got the Idea

It's much more reasonable with Microsofts idea of using your £200 microsoft certified smart phone plus your £400 Windows 8 tablet (because I doubt smartglass will work with all those iDevices you all have) in addition to your £200 Xbawks console. Personally, Smartglass sounded cool as an idea for stuff Nintendo could do with their console, but impractical in real terms for playing 360.
Even if you have all the necessary equipment, you now have a touch screen to try and use, which ISNT IN YOUR HANDS when you're playing the game. You have to take your hand off of your xbox controller, reach to whereever your tablet is precariously balanced whilst you play, probably getting shot in the progress. It's an interesting idea, but I don't see it being used by many.

Not trolling at all. That's just what i heard the most "Tomb Raider is a ripoff", never played Uncharted just watched 1 or 2 gameplay videos and it has similarities but not enought for me to call it a rip off. But yeah i need to play uncharted to be shure.Menegrothx wrote:Not sure if trollingDamm64 wrote:tomb raider (don't care if is a uncharted ripoff)

The (realistic) assumption is that many gamers already own a tablet or smartphone, or will get one at some point (particularly considering the direction Windows 8 is going).alienjesus wrote: Yeah, why would you have your Wii U controller on you when you'rer playing a Wii U game. A lot of what Microsoft presented wasn't 360-specific, or even necessarly XBox platform specific. SmartGlass is an API that they could potentially utilize for their entire product lineup - which makes sense considering you can already get software to use Android or iOS devices as remotes, use Airplay to stream content from an iPad to your TV, and so on.
There's still some stuff the GamePad will likely do that SmartGlass/etc is less likely to, like be used as a viewfinder to modify content on the TV (sniper scope for example). The more passive tasks, like picking plays, are things many of us figured a synced touch device could do when Nintendo showed the system last year.
At least SmartGlass is probably something that will get utilized if/when it's actually appropriate, instead of being crammed into nearly every title on the system.
Re: E3 2012
Gotta say though, I think having real buttons and thumbsticks gives the Wii U gamepad a massive advantage over any tablet or phone.
I too was not overly impressed with anything on show from any body and Nintendo managed to be dull even with new hardware to shout about. Not that I wasn't impressed with most of the games, they just seemed to talk about it in a really dull way. Oh well, I'll still be getting a Wii U

Re: E3 2012
The smart glass idea is nifty but it won't be able to provide any type of immersible experience that the WiiU Gamepad can.

So where are the 3DS games? Luigi's Mansion 2? Okay, I'll get it. I enjoyed the first one...
Anything else...?
