That stuff is dangerous. I once was bored and drank five cups that I brewed way to strong. I felt like I needed to go to the hospital and could feel my heart beating in my throat. I also have a very low caffeine tolerance so I don't really even drink coffee.
Puke and then eat. I've done that a couple times while writing my thesis. You can actually overdose on caffeine, thankfully puking and the eating then trying to sleep helped a bit, but I still felt weird in the morning.

How do you force yourself to puke? I've heard reaching back in your throat doesn't actually work.

Whoever told you that is a damned liar.

Kombucha. A very low calorie tea made from fermented mushrooms. Good stuff.

It's been rainy and cool here lately, so I figured it would be perfect for a few stouts. Here's what I've had the past three nights:

Image

First up, Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout

This is a solid oatmeal stout. It has a wonderful body, pours dark with a thick head that leaves some rings. It has a mild smell, but the taste is more full than light; more bitter than sweet, but not really that noticeably so. Oats and some coffee dominate. Goes down easy. Great beer!

Next up, Young's Double Chocolate Stout

This beer smells wonderfully chocolate! It poured dark, though a weak head with no rings. As far as stouts go, it's rather light in body, not as thick as I wanted it. It's pretty sweet too, but not nearly as sweet as an imperial. The chocolate is the most dominant taste, and all kinds of chocolate are noticeable. Not at a bad beer, definitely one worth having at least some point.

Finall, Rogue Chocolate Stout

I'm impressed. First, the smell was about as strong as Young's, but slightly sweeter. It poured dark with a dark brown head, but as you can see from the picture below, it quickly disappeared. The body is on the thicker, creamier side, and that's definitely a good sign! I tasted less chocolate; it had rather more of a roasted flavor. I'm not a huge fan of dark, bitter chocolate, but I can detect a hint of that in the taste as well. The combination of the roast and the sweet chocolate smell however made for a rather pleasant experience. It had a definite coffee aftertaste. Of the three, this was the easiest and most enjoyable to go down. I definitely recommend this!
