Please tell me I am not the only one here...
Re: Please tell me I am not the only one here...
I've had my 360 longer than a single other console I currently own, so I don't see how that's "ignoring" current-gen gaming. (And as far as the same sentiment regarding today's music... lol.)

Wouldn't ignoring modern Slayer be a bit more analogous to say, ignoring modern Resident Evil?
Re: Please tell me I am not the only one here...
Perhaps, but the original analogy as posted by BoneSnapDeez was equating it to gaming in general, so without further clarification, that's what I assumed it was referring to.AppleQueso wrote:Wouldn't ignoring modern Slayer be a bit more analogous to say, ignoring modern Resident Evil?
There are tens of thousands of albums released every year. Between the "no way in hell" chance that someone has listened to all of them, every year, and some form of the first point from this, I'm inclined to just call it subjective and leave it at that.sabrage wrote:And as far as the same sentiment regarding today's music... lol.

Cool, i'll get them if i see them. Thanks!isiolia wrote:The Game of the Year edition of Fallout 3 includes the DLC packs.
It's fairly typical for Bethesda to release a double-dip of their RPGs with all the DLC included - Morrowind and Oblivion both have GoTY editions as well, and Fallout New Vegas has the Ultimate Edition.
Me neither but if the DLC has a retail release it's welcome for me.Breetai wrote: No idea. I'm not really a big supporter of DLC.
I actually prefer Fallout 1 and 2 over 3 and New Vegas, although I do like 3 and NV (3 a fair bit more).

Xbox - more gritty first person shooters?
Ps3 - jak 4 is the only thing that could make me spend another 250 on a console I don't need
3ds - Blah
Sorry, but when you still have a list of over 100 retro games to collect, more $60 games (that will be $20 in a year) just dont interest me much. I'm sure Ill look at some of the coverage and at least 1 or two things will end up interesting me, but the only thing I'm on the edge of my seat for is Breaking Bad and The Dark Knight Rises.

What? I'd wager that I listen to a much larger and more eclectic slice of today's music than most people do. I don't know what kind of point you're trying to make.isiolia wrote:There are tens of thousands of albums released every year. After all, this is a gaming site and E3 is all about the games. If you don't like the newest Call of Duty, then you don't deserve to play games at all! (am I taking this too far?)

The only game I am looking forward to is Bioshock Infinity but its not appearing at E3 this year. I think I am now reaching my cutting off point for gaming.
Does anyone feel the same?
I feel the same way Swede. I actually find myself moving further and further away from gaming altogether. I have a PSP and DS that haven't been used for close to a month, and I find my Xbox is mainly used for Netflix and DVD's. Looking at new game announcements, it doesn't look like that is going to change anytime soon. I guess I just miss the days when multiplayer meant the other player had to sit next to you.
