I would be very surprised if anyone played ME3 on the WiiU.MrPopo wrote:You'd be surprised.Phades wrote:Also, who is going to play ME3 on this?

Re: E3 2012
Sigh....I want this to be a success but if even Nintendo failed to deliver what are the hopes of 3rd parties doing so?
Oh well I'll go and watch this trailer again and dream... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09apkk58Ju8

Re: E3 2012
I was more impressed with the Nintendo conference than any of the others so far (except maybe Ubisoft). Could it have been better? Sure, it could. But there are a couple of positive signs, IMHO.
One is that the console is capable of playing HD games/graphics and Nintendo has largely seen the light when it comes to control schemes. Second, we have at least one major 3rd party developer willing to invest time and money in the system. Yes, we saw some ports but if those ports look/play/sell well I don't think 3rd party developers will be scared away from the Wii U.
In other words, I think Nintendo is setting themselves up well to compete in the "hardcore" gaming arena in addition to the family friendly market.
Will I get one? I'm not sure yet. My girlfriend has a Wii and likes a lot of the 2.5D style games. The idea of both of us being able to play the games we want on the same console is intruiging. I guess it will depend on the level of 3rd party support the console ends up with for me.

Ubisoft had Lana, err, Aisha Tyler as a host. They 'won' by default.

What's this obsession with perceived 'winning'? The brashness of people can be trying at times.. it's not like they hand out medals for best press conference.hashiriya1 wrote:Ubisoft had Lana, err, Aisha Tyler as a host. They 'won' by default.
I reckon whatever excitement you guys had pre-E3 has now subsided. Maybe TGS will prove a bit more interesting?
- Microsoft: I really don't mind if they step out of the console market altogether, by muddying the distinction between PC and console they are not helping matters. It is especially worse for those who prefer their PC experiences to be 'dedicated' ones. Timed DLC? Who wants that?
- Sony: Serviceable, and sometimes even stellar, in-house efforts helped distinguish the PS brand despite a rough start, but the Vita is no indication Sony have learned from their blunders. Also, why is there no $199 PS3 model yet?
- Nintendo: Eh?

Re: E3 2012
Forget Wii U games... where the hell are the new Wii games???
My Wii has been collecting dust for 6 months!
And then we don't get a launch date and price for the Wii U on top of it? EPIC FAIL
Worst E3 by far
