This is what I do, pretty much. Except in Maine it's cold for several months not weeks.

During the summer I generally sleep naked. Sometimes underwear if I have guests over.

I found out years ago that if I sweated like crazy while sleeping, I barely sweated during the day. So, pajamas for me.

Sometimes I wish I didn't like the weirdest girls on the planet.

Also, fuck my mom and her cockblocking presence.

It's sad when a girl comes to my house for some surprise sex and my mom picks up the intercom.

They also don't seem to pick up my hints, or better yet, they don't seem to care about it.

I need to find myself a new home.

Yep. That's what I do. I typed in the highest I was willing to spend and let the Fates decide. It may be a bummer that I didn't win, but I didn't pay more than I as willing, so I am content with the outcome. Sad, but ultimately content.
I think the issue people have is that someone beat them for $.25 or $1 over their max bid. They seem to think that they might have had the item if the only bid a little more. It would be a different feeling if their max bid was $10 and the winning bid was $20. In that case, they were not even close.

There no way of knowing what the other person's max bid is anyway. Sure, the price it won at might've ended up being 10.54 even though your max was 10 bucks, but in all likelyhood, it was because someone else's max was 20.

Lilo & Stitch and Airplane have the same MPAA rating. Crazy world.

The MPAA keeps getting tougher and tougher. I don't think you can show a butt naked man swinging on a rope these days and get away with a PG rating. Prometheus didn't deserve an R rating, but what really gets my goat is that you can get a PG-13 rating solely for language. Growing up, PG-13 meant you were going to see some boobs.
