Re: E3 2012
What did they do to Tomb Raider?
If wanted to play something like Uncharted (I don't) I would've played that and not some damn clone.

Re: E3 2012
So basically another boring Halo game, bunch of boring sports games and stuff that nobody cares about, lol kinect, Usher dancing around out of nowhere, Call of Duty 2012: Wallhack Edition, Microsoft copying the Wii U controller (although Nintendo recently stole their controller design too so I guess they're even?), and South Park RPG confirmed as GOTY 2013.
Not expecting much out of anyone else either.

Do people really get excited for the new Halo and Call of Duty games? I mean, I actually like their predecessors (unlike a lot of our forum members), but they are so oversaturated now. I don't know how anyone gets excited for the new ones.

TBH I was actually hoping Halo 4 could be different, being the first Halo since the original to include more than two new species of enemies. Now that they look so awful...J T wrote:Do people really get excited for the new Halo and Call of Duty games? Re: E3 2012
Apparently, since every game breaks sales records. It's the factor that hundreds of "non-gamers"/casuals/whatever play CoD, people buy a 360 simply to play CoD. The game will make thousands in impulse buys alone.
Now did anyone watching the presentation that was wanting to see some new and exciting stuff? I think the poll about whether or not the viewers enjoyed the presentation or not answers that question pretty well. Last time I saw it,
LOVED IT 18%
HATED IT 82%

Funny you would say that, considering Tomb Raider by far predates Uncharted.Ghouls 'n Ghosts wrote:What did they do to Tomb Raider? If wanted to play something like Uncharted (I don't) I would've played that and not some damn clone.
They've been toying with that since RE4.Ghouls 'n Ghosts wrote:And lol at Resident Quicktime.

I know. I wish the series would go back to the style before Resident Evil 4.BoringSupreez wrote:They've been toying with that since RE4.

Re: E3 2012
I am a Halo fan, but 4 looks to simply be more of the same but with new enemy types. Halo 1 was a compelling game, like a supped up Marathon. Multiplayer was a ball aswell - 16 player Sidewinder = AWESOME. Halo 2 was a drop for me, I did not enjoy the game at all. 3 was better than 2, ODST was just bad but had excellent voice acting, but Reach was awesome and redeemed the series to me. 4 I am interested in, but will be a down the road purchase. Mechanical skaags makes me laugh though. I mean seriously:GameMasterGuy wrote:TBH I was actually hoping Halo 4 could be different, being the first Halo since the original to include more than two new species of enemies.
