What really bothered me about this game was the Hakuna Matata gorilla. In the Genesis manual it suggests you find a way to bounce the coconuts he's throwing at you back at him to win, which is impossible to do without dying. All you actually need to do is wait for him to get ready to rage and then give him a basic pounce.
As for the gorilla, you can hit the coconuts back at him, that's how I do the fight. It's pretty tricky though, you need to roll through the coconut without getting too near the gorilla or he'll slap you. I didn't realise there was anotheR way to hit him!
Look at you two, trading boss battle tips. I feel like its 1994 all over again!

That's warm and fuzzy right there.

Ohhh, I understand which part you were talking about now. I'd forgotten about it. Man, that whole level was just brutal. How about that rolling rock? And how, if you died there, your continue marker placed you back before the lava rafting bit with the bats? Torture.

In a way I'm glad that I was doing the end of the lava level correctly after all, but really. How did any of us figure that out? I remember my thumb was KILLING me, I spent so much time running around there waiting for something to happen. I almost gave up, suspecting that my cartridge had glitched or something.

And yes, with the gorilla: just avoid the coconuts and wait for him to wind up for a ground pound. Jump on him while he's standing with his arms raised he won't slap you away.

I have to say I'm seriously impressed you managed it with the coconuts! I never, EVER was able to pull that off. :claps:
