...? All I can say is that. The 360 is 7 years old now, and almost at the end of its life span. Hundreds, if you count downloadable then thousands of games have been released for it. The Star Wars Xbox 360 was released, and I'm assuming that was the system's swan song in terms of hardware. Now is the time for all the late gamers to pick up their 360s for cheap, while the system is still actually relevant and "new" as well. NOW is the perfect time.
The console has another good year or two in it, possibly three, plus that small, awkward trickle that happens after the console shoudl have died.

Well, if that small awkward trickle and the games to come in a few years are worth talking about, they can easily be added to the list. The 360 will be replaced sooner than 3 years too, that's pretty much certain. Probably sooner than 2 years. Not exactly because of its hardware, but because it uses DVDs.

Um a 360 list of titles for the retro gamer would be cool but the way this list is stated in the op is kinda pointless and has been way to many times by tons of places already. I mean seeing as this is a retro site and all.

... yea, I feel we don't need a guide on the 360. There are plenty of guides out there and this particular place specializes in all things retro.

We could continue updating this thread for retro games on the 360.

They're all shooters. From there you get into subgenres.

Did you grew up in the PS1 era?

Stuff like Space Invaders, Galaga, River Raid, Gradius, R-Type, etc. have always been known as "shooters."
