Forget V, how about a blu ray of the street fighter animated movie.
Its been confirmed to be the edited version so no Chun Li titties, no dice!

Now i wonder if its the super massive edited version that removes all that awesome profanity.
Booooo!

they put the uncut version on dvd, why the hell keep banding about that edited gutter trash?

Capcom made a lot of money off those animated boobies and blood, what are they ashamed of it now?

Why not just toss in a compilation disc or something, huh Capcom? I mean every other game in the SF series (sans the EX games I guess) has been released in compilations before, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to slap all that onto a single ps3 disc.

Even as a first ever Blue Ray format release, The movie is worthless if its the censored version. I'm really curious to know which censored version they are using exactly...

Like I've been ranting previously, This "collection" reeks of recycled crap that has been already out on the market since the franchise made a return with IV. There is absolutely no exclusives in the form of SF games to want to purchase this! At the very FUCK'N least , they should have put HDR and 3S:OE on a disc!

And your very rite. Specifically for the 15th Anniversary, they released the awesome duo in Anniversary Collection for PS2 and XB at a wonderful price. And then Alpha Antho followed shortly after. For the 20th anniversary the series was in high gear with its revival. This expensive shit box of a collection is a VERY awful way to celebrate its historic 25 years in the industry

Hmm, I guess I should cancel my preorder immediately. You've convinced me that I won't ever get any enjoyment from this "shit box".

To each his own! If you can justify forking over 150 bones for games that perhaps you already own (I believe that's your mini arcade piggy bank on display) then that's cool. But as a SF fan, i already own much of the games here (sans SFxT) as well as the additional contents of this collection in the form of Art books and soundtracks. This collection seems pretty bare bones for people who have been supporting the series the just recent years. There is very little savings in this collection when actual games are concerned. SFxT MSRP has been dropping steadily with many stores already selling it for $40. SF4 Arcade Edition can been commonly seen on sale for $20-$30. 3S: OE is only $15 and HDR is always on sale online and can be obtained on a retail disc now via CDC disc.

I already pre-ordered my copy from Amazon and plan to sell SFxTekken since I already own it to help bring the cost down. The extras are nice such as the Ryu statue which was the biggest selling point for me and the main reason I'm picking up the collection. The music and anime are a nice plus as well. As others have mentioned a wider selection of games from the Alpha series would have been better. It still has a great value overall nonetheless with everything included. 8)

PS3 version of Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set includes a lot of exclusive content
- Steet Fighter Alpha, Alpha 2, and Alpha 3 PSone Classics.

- Street Fighter 3: Third Strike DLC

- Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max on PSP

- 175 PlayStation Network Avatars

I hadn't even heard about this until today, definitely getting it. I'm glad I held out on SFxT after all.

I may as well throw my 2 cents in on this too.

I don't give a shit about the ports that are included, inferior quality or not. As for the PSN stuff, I already have SF II Turbo Remix, but it will be cool to get a free code for SF III Online plus the DLC (whatever it even is).

I already own SSF IV and SF IV AE, but only a few of DLC costumes, but it will be great to have all of them. I can sell both on Amazon right now though and get about $20 out of them. Street Fighter x Tekken I don't own, and my main gripe with it was half the roster being DLC. In my eyes this is the re-release including the DLC I've been waiting for, so that's awesome.

The blu-rays honestly sound pretty cool to me. I'll surely check out this documentary, and the Street Fighter II anime stuff is hilarious. Most probably don't care it but I got a kick out of it back in the day and wouldn't mind owning it on blu-ray.

The light up statue seems awesome, not much else to say. I'll have it on display on my figurine stand next to my console set up. The box also looks cool, that'll be on display as well. The belt is kind of whatever though.

The soundtrack, sounds fucking sweet. Street Fighter has my favorite fighting game soundtrack aside from Guilty Gear/BlazBlue, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what exactly is on these 11-disks. I really enjoyed listening through the KoF OST that came with XIII.

So all in all I think the value is very much there and I just pre-ordered on Amazon. Sure, a compilation disk with some of the SF games on it would have been nice, but I mean cmon there is already tons of content here and at least there are the redeem vouchers. If there weren't even the redeem vouchers I guarantee people would be bitching about that too. You can get the PS2 compilations for very cheap anyway.
