Blizzard: if you're going to make my single-player games lag, does it really have to be the worst goddamn lag in the world?

(Holy shit I've been playing a lot of Diablo)

Single-player lag. Why is that even a thing.

Honestly? I'd love to hear the piracy numbers straight from the horse's mouth.

That's it.

From now on, we're pronouncing it "Why's". And spelling it "Ease".

So I recently got an Atari 2600 (4-switch woody if you're wondering) and a bunch of games. The console is in excellent shape, like, REALLY excellent shape. Looks almost brand new, not a scuff or a scratch on it, not even a rusty screw.

Been playing some of the games I got though, and man. Kaboom! is great and Missile Command is pretty neat and Space Invaders is classic, but geez, some of these other games are just awful. That Pac-Man port is atrocious, and Video Pinball MIGHT be fun if it weren't for the fact that the ball rarely seems to go anywhere near your paddles, so you kinda just watch it bounce around for a while until it helplessly falls into a hole.

Still glad I got this thing though. Just need to pick up a few more of its classics :) .

Let's make it even easier, just scrap all the English pronunciations and call it イース!

@AppleQueso, that's cool I've been wanting the wood console for ages but haven't been able to justify the purchase yet. All I have is a Junior, which is a bit beat-up. Make sure you get Adventure!

Adventure's definitely one I want to get. Frogger, Pole Position, and Pitfall too.

I love Space Invaders, the 2600 has an invisible Alien mode in some of the levels. I'm tempted to get a Pacman cart just to own it for the Historical mark; the horrible ghost flashing on the screen. Keep an eye out for Jr Pacman and Berzerk, both great games.

One thing I really like about the 2600 over the 2600Jr and 7800 is the ease at which the carts drop in and removed. A very solid steel housing surrounding the console connector.
