It's all good, but the barrel is hands down the best thing in there.

Sweet~ How's the distance from couch to screen in the movie section?
(FC, AVFC, NES, SFC x2, SNES, N64, GC x2, Wii x2)*(G&W x7, GB, GBpocket, GBASP, DS-L x2)
(GEN, SS x3, DC x3)*(PCE-Duo)*(Xbox:500GB)*(NGCDZ, NGPC)*(PS1, PStwo, PS3:160GB, PSP.3K)

You sir, have built quite the game room. I applaud you.
Older. Not wiser.

Poker table, couch, crt, games, projector.... looking good sir.
I think you only need to add a mini fridge full of some soft drinks and beer and you would be set!

What were the holes on the theater room side for?
Re: Beatnix game room - More progress - new pics
Thanks everyone for the kind words on my never ending project. I'm really enjoying how the room is coming together. There are a thousand things I still want to do but for now, I'm enjoying it as it is. Slowly but surely it will continue to evolve.
To answer a few questions/comments...
The screen is 96 inces corner to corner. My butt sits exactly 10 feet from the wall. For the size of the screen I think this is pretty optimal. HOWEVER... my color wheel is going bad on my mitsubishi projector and so we are using it very sparingly. So far its only projected the celtics and sixers game 7, and last weeks episode of Game of Thrones (twice!) Need to figure out if this is something I can fix or if I need to suck it up and start saving for a new projector, because GoT was awesome in high def bigness! I want more of that
I agree that a mini fridge is needed. It's on my list of things to keep an eye out for at yard sales this summer.
Holes in the wall... One is for the stereo and components... Still need to trim out the edges. The other is the water main line. I have Rorschach guarding the hole until I get around to building a real door.

Re: Beatnix game room - More progress - new pics
That all looks fabulous. Bravo.
My only concern is seeing all those boxes so close to that little window...I worry about fade, even if it doesn't let in that much light. But then, those are the kinds of things I think about
I don't suppose you could find a nice video game themed mini-curtain to put in front of it....Actually, now that I think about it, that'd be really sweet.

Yep... Need curtains, I have a make shift block up right now and will be getting something more permanent soon.

Re: Beatnix game room - More progress - new pics
Doing some cleaning and inventory updating, so posted some new pics of the game room. Not much actual build progress, but plenty of new pieces in the collection worth updating. Considering doing a set of collection pics for each system. Sounds daunting, so we'll see...
