Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Remember when Gwen Stefani left No Doubt because of how the band was holding her career back? Whatever happened with that, anyway?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

How hot can it get where you are sheesh? I've driven several vehicles with no AC through Texas swamp coast summers and lived. One of them even had vinyl seats.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Eyeballing an Integra GS-R for my next vehicle. Type R is a bit expensive, rare, and has no air conditioning or sound dampening.

Look, I'm a cold weather person. Any hotter than about 80 with a breeze and I start to get uncomfortable. I like it to be around 67-69. It's fine in the winter, but we've been pushing the high 80s here the last few weeks. August tends to run in the 90s.Hobie-wan wrote:How hot can it get where you are sheesh? Besides that, the Type R, while very cool, would have more road noise than the already loud GS-R, and costs like twice as much. Not worth it to shave a second off 0-60 (6.1-6.3 vs about 7.2), and the suspension would be much worse in daily driving.
GS-R is plenty sporty, has cheaper insurance, and better gas mileage. Will only cost me about 6k for a nice one too.
The hard part is finding one that isn't modified. Seems like the only stock ones are all beat to shit.
Older. Not wiser.

I have the heat/defrost on in the morning when I drive to work and the AC cranked (or windows open) when I drive home. Such is Maine weather.
