Did you beat your collection?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Did you beat your collection?

Post by blue_veilvet »

Hi there,

I would be interested to know who of you beat every game you have in your collection. I guess most of the people here have rather huge collections, so getting to play each game though the end must be a challenging task.

To beat my own collection, I still have to beat around 50 games.

It'll be a chore just for me to unwrap my whole collection...

If I completed a game every week, by my calculations, it'll take me 10 years to complete my backlog, and that's if I don't ever buy another game.

Not even close to beating the whole collection, doubt I ever will.

I was unemployed for about two months a couple years back and beat most of the games I have been meaning too. My backlog now would be quite manageable if 90% of them were not JRPGs. At last look it was about forty, 20 of them PSX Rpgs, 3 PS2 RPGS, 4 Cube games, and my recently acquired SMS and Wii games.

Not a chance, I have about 130 original games and I might have beaten about 25% of them at best. There are still many games that I havent yet played and some that I probably never will other than the odd hour on them here and there.

I think out of all the games I own physical copies of, I've probably only beat about 10 of them on the standard single-player mode.
And fighting games probably make up a good amount of those.
But keep in mind, a lot of the best games don't really have endings

No where close. I tend to go on a collecting spree and take one game out of the lot and beat it. I have alot of shmups and rpg's an either haven't had the time or patience to beat many of them. I'd say out of my collection about 15% have been completed and I pboabably have around 200 titles. I need to get off the net and start gaming. sheesh! :?

What about games that you watch someone else beat? I own a few games that my girlfriend played through and I'd watch her progress. Afterwards, I usually have little to no desire to play that title, since I've seen everything about it(this is mostly with RPGs).

Out of 122 games in my collection, I've personally beaten...69 of them.
