Come at me bros
Boxed RAM version, or single release with actual backart?
I believe the boxed RAM version is rarer, though I personally prefer the non-boxed version with backart.
In either case, fairly low runs on both. Commands a steady $70+ price.
I remember when I made the decision to buy it (over 10 years ago), the prices were pretty reasonable. And they only dropped from there. Only over the last year or two has the price jumped like that.
Well, I know they're not always accurate, but Digitpress lists it as a 7. They weren't nearly as common as the first on ebay when I was looking before I picked it up on vacation last year.
... and now I look again it is plentiful on ebay. *shrug*
Fine, PS and HP. Geez. At least I didn't say some million seller greatest hits game that people use copies to level tables like FF7.
Remember kids, hoarded & pricey ≠ rare.
Well, there are for sure less of them than the first. It's just that I've ran into it in the wild in Japan before. It's possible (like I did with Super Tempo), just not so likely I think. Then again, the DP guide isn't always perfect. At any rate, it is NOT common!
I acquired the SE (backart version) as my very first trade on racket (little over 2 years ago). We valued it at $75 for the trade, which was matching the lowest ebay price at the time - so it's been at least 2+ years that it's been in that range.
I've since acquired a boxed ram version at ebay auction for $88 'n change, and that was a good $30 under the buy now's at the time, probably 10-12 months ago.
Flex, Flex, Flex...honestly though, yr good with the version you have imo, the others are bulkier and I hate the look of a game w/o backart...and I assume you have a 4mb cart in yr saturn anyways, so the other is just filler you don't need.
yea I got to thinking about it and those cardboard boxes are more of a pain in the ass to keep nice compared to just a jewel case so I'm a jewel case only guy for imports now.

No idea at all on runs - i've been into SAT-J pretty heavy for 3 years and my thoughts would be (based upon pure number of times i've seen them at available ebay auction / jp gamestores / forums / yahoo jp)
Hardest to find, imo: 1. Psychic Killer Taromaru 2. Super Tempo 3. Mizubaku Daiboken 4. Tryrush Deppy 5. HyperDuel 6. Crows 7. Cleopatra Fortune 8. Image Fight X Multiply 9. Final Fight Revenge 10. Astra Superstars
Breetai may have a better idea on actual production runs...
